Bay Colony Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this fantastic vintage Queen Anne style Cherry tilt top table. The table was made by the Bartley Collection who sold these pieces in kits that would be assembled by the buyer. This was one of their easier kits to assemble because all the purchasers had to do was attach the birdcage to the top, attach the brass catch lock, and slide the leg dovetails into their corresponding slots on the pedestal. Simpler is always better when you have inexperienced homeowners assembling furniture as there are less steps to mess up on. The birdcage mechanism allows the table to tilt and swivel a full 360 degrees. The table is solid Cherry and retains its original finish in a beautiful color with our only condition notes being minor surface wear. When the table is flipped up like in our gallery picture the table measures 31” wide x 22” deep x 46 1/4” tall. When the top is locked down the table has a 31” diameter and is 29” tall.
