We are pleased to offer you this very fine quality solid quartered (tiger) oak Victorian 54" pedestal dining table by the B & S Table Company of Boston Circa 1900. This pedestal table sits on top of a nicely executed carved talon footed base with a cleverly engineered geared table runner system that is control by a wheel mechanism. It is not a veneered top table! This is a solid quartersawn (tiger) oak that's grain goes straight through it. The massive one piece base column makes the table 29" tall. This table has two additional 11" leaves and allows the table to become 76".
