We are pleased to offer to you this solid quartersawn oak Victorian writing desk. The desk has retained it's original, uncleaned finish and has a great look and surface character. The top is solid quartersawn oak not a thin veneer. This was built to last and stand up to daily use. Creating this desk was very resource intensive, we can tell this is not a factory ran pattern they would have made 1000's of rather a custom built heavy design with the refined simple elegance you would find of the period. The desk is 49" wide x 30 1/2" deep x 30" tall. The drawer measure 22 1/2" x 21 1/2".
