We are delighted to offer you this wonderful mid 19th century early Victorian period burled walnut Ladies Desk. It has a double door short secretary cabinet and lift top writing top with four drawers in its interior. Its top is accented with a finely pierced carved back gallery. It stands on very nicely carved and flared tapered legs with casters concealed into its wheel cups with a generous base stretcher. The desk is in excellent overall condition having never been touched or refinished. It still has whats left of its original leather top. These are extremely rare and choice 19th century desks and we are proud to be offering it in such nice original condition. It measures 30" long, 22" wide, 44" tall at the top of its secretary and 28" tall at its slant work top.
