We take the utmost pleasure in offering you this extra choice Circa 1825 New York State Federal period made in the Sheraton style figured mahogany with burled elm and mahogany work table. It is adorned with gorgeous matched Lion head brasses and brass caster wheels. Defined and identifiable by the striking acanthus carved legs as unmistakably New York State. We have seen the market flooded by plain basic Sheraton & Empire pieces cleverly jazzed up with new Birds Eye & Tiger Maple veneer facings. This started its life with the Burled elm drawer & corner block facings. It is simply wonderful and not a 'created piece' by a clever woodworker. It possesses a bold crotched mahogany top and finished all around. It is 21" long, 17" wide and 28 1/2" tall.
