The chest features spectacular sandwich glass pulls which add to the overall aesthetic superiority and stature of this piece. It has a finely scrolled and formed solid bird's eye maple backsplash gallery which displays a nice patina and well oxidized finished surface. The overall case is mahogany with bird's eye maple half columns flanking the drawers. The drawers feature original brass escutcheons and are all individually hand dovetailed with chamfered drawer panels. The drawers were rehardwared with the original outer holes having been professionally plugged. The chest is in wonderful condition it measures 48 1/2" long x 21" wide x 56" tall overall. It measures 41" tall at the dresser top and 47" tall at the top of the gloveboxes.
