We are delighted to offer you this exceptionally fine set of nine antique Chinese Chippendale style mahogany dining room chairs. We are selling these as a set of 8 with a 9th chair thrown in. The set consists of one arm chair and 8 side chairs. Fine sets of antique mahogany dining room chairs are one of our specialties. We routinely sell the finest sets in America on consistent basis and this set is something unique and of ultra high quality. Sets of true Chinese Chippendale dining room chairs are very tough finds. These are big comfortable chairs standing 41" tall, 19" deep with 23" wide seats that are 18" high. They are highly embellished with ball & claw feet, splayed pad rear legs with graceful rakes, serpentine seat rails and highly adorned by carved rosettes and decorated all over. They were professionally re-upholstered about 5 years ago employing top quality workmanship. The fabric is in fairly good condition with our noting some small staining and one having a small back tear. You are buying from photographs so we do our absolute best to give you the most subjective inspections of all our offerings.
