Bay Colony Antiques is delighted to offer you this fantastic antique set of 10 Chippendale styled mahogany Dinning Chairs. The set consists of 2 arms chairs and 8 side chairs. They possess graceful form, great condition and slip cover seats. Defined by intricate interlaced carved back splats, punch carved decorations, wide seats, carved Marlborough front legs, H stretchers, nicely splayed back legs and comfortably raked seat backs. These are late 19th Century (exercising an abundance of caution-to the very early 20th century at the latest) English masterpieces that come to us from a major Connecticut collection of the best English antiques. Unlike many of the other chairs being offered on the market we selected these for their quality and being actual antiques vs used furniture. It truly makes a difference in getting your full values worth. We note some minor finish wear on the arms of the chair, some very minor nicks around the front legs & some fading of the seat fabric for which we make no apology or excuses.
