We take the utmost pleasure in offering you these extra select pair of nearly identical 18th Century Windsor Fan Back Chairs. These came from an important Windsor chair collection and unquestionably crafted by the same chairmarker. Their fanback combs each possess a very rare "kiss" carving in the centers. With seven bamboo turned back spindles, bamboo turned legs & stretchers these are a very choice form of the Windsor chair American Masterpiece. Each are in pristine condition with extra large 17 1/4" wide & 15 1/2" deep hand hewn scribed saddle seats. In maple, pine & oak they have no break repairs or restorations. All pin & peg fastened in a nice century old scrubbed out second finish. Our Windsor chair collector expect the best out of us & these deliver.
