ANTIQUE A. HOEN & CO BALTIMORE PRINT OF THE STEAMSHIP HOWARD
Bay Colony Antiques is delighted to offer you this late 19th century print of the Steamship Howard by A. Hoen & Co. Baltimore. It is 40" long & 30 1/2" wide. Framed in its original oak frame with original active soda lime glass. The print is heavily sunfaded & stained but not ripped or torn anywhere. Its complete depicting a nice detail of the Steamship Howard flying both American & M. & M.T. Co. fleet flag which was a Boston-Baltimore-Norfolk Carrier line. She's under full steam and the print has other sailed vessels along with a waterfront showing a stone blockhouse. All three cities had them in their ports. Hoen's maritime prints were limited in run and these are very attractive maritime pieces that are fairly rare.
