PAIR OF JAPANESE SATSUMA SAKE BOTTLES WITH MORIAGE DECORATION
We are pleased to offer this wonderful pair of late 19th century Japanese satsuma sake bottles. The bodies of the bottles are a rich golden yellow transitioning to a deep orange around the base. They each feature beautiful chrysanthemum flowers and exceptional raised moriage decoration. The lids have beautiful sculpted blossoming flowers adorning the tops. We note some minor damage to the floral petals. The bottles are 5" wide x 5" deep and stand 10 3/4" tall.
