Bay Colony Antiques is honored to offer you this excellent and rare large sized cased antique illuminated Pelorus by Wilfrid O. White of Boston. White's maritime instruments were some of the best ever made. This multi access floating gimbel compass has a finely detailed azimuth card, horizon latimeter flip up sight and complete with its original brass cap guard. We have been dealing with fine marine instruments for decades now and these specimens as depicted here are extremely scarce. It measures 12" x 12" x 12".
