This example was manufactured by the Henkel Harris furniture company at the height of their production run when the quality of their furniture was at its finest. Along with Baker Furniture and Councill Craftsman, Henkel Harris made the choicest selection of traditional antique inspired furniture throughout America in the late 20th century. Anyone who grew up with Henkel Harris furniture in their home likely already knows just how costly this furniture was to order directly from the original outlets. We are proud to offer this table at a fraction of its original cost.
The table is constructed from the finest grade of Honduran mahogany available at the time of production. The game table features a folding top that is supported by a rear leg which swings out 90 degrees. The top is shaped and curved along with the apron of the table which displays a bold crotched mahogany grain as well as rectangular panel inlays on either end. The apron also has a wonderful band of diamond inlay spanning the entire length of the table. The table has four tapered legs which are inlaid with bellflowers and string patterns. This game table measures 36" wide x 18" deep x 30" tall and expands to 36" deep when the top is folded outward.
