We are honored to offer you this fabulous quality 19th century mahogany Georgian Campaign Partner's Desk with a gold embossed hand tooled leather top. These desks are pretty much the last word remaining in the true formal antique masterpieces of desks. It is crafted entirely from solid Cuban mahogany. Defined by double pedestals the Desk completely breaks down into 3 components (the top & 2 pedestals) for ease of transport. It is equipped with deep wide right & left centers drawers and has an additional 3 drawers in both right & left pedestals. The partners side of the desk's top possesses 2 top faux drawer faces. Both the right & left pedestals have doors that open up to reveal large storage compartments. The desk is in excellent original condition right down its very high quality original English brasses. The green leather top is very well preserved. There is some type of color transition in the green leather that appears to be a naturally occurring event . We speculate it is caused by prolonged exposure to sunlight or possibly just a characteristic that takes on by itself. We make no apology or excuses for it. We note it and inform you practicing our full disclosure policy. The desk is entirely dovetailed joined at every major fastening point. Its secondary woods are oak. All the drawers' actions are smooth and effortless. There are a series of caster wheels under each of its pedestals making it possibly to push the desk around after its assembled. This is a finely crafted very high quality mahogany Executive Desk. Anyone would be proud to own this desk! It measures 55" long, 36 1/2" wide and 31" tall.
