We are honored to offer you this outstanding Circa 1920 custom made solid mahogany Salem chest with checkered inlays and bow front format attributed to the Mayflower Furniture Company of Boston. This is an estate fresh piece from an impeccably clean home furnished exclusively with the finest Boston custom furniture from the early 20th century. It is defined by turret cookie corners, bamboo carved columns and ring turned legs. Its secondary panels are all mahogany and the drawers possess blind dovetail sets attesting to its phenomenal quality. It has four drawers with highly figured facings and excellent original brasses with rosettes and bails. We highly regard our custom furniture from Boston which stands alone as America's very best. Without close second this is one of the best Salem chests we have had the pleasure of offering in several years now. It is 42" long, 22" wide and 38 1/2" tall.
