We are delighted to offer you this fabulous very early 19th century Federal period crib in solid tiger maple. This is a super period antique that was actually used by a family for several generations as a crib for their children. It is pegged joined and very nicely restored. We note a few insignificant repairs and the adding of a new reinforcement system to support the solid tiger maple bedding board. Cribs and a child's safety are issues we deeply care about so we ask you to use all prudent caution if it's intended to be used other than a decorative piece for a doll display or the likes. The spindles are all 3 1/2" apart. Each of the crib's four posts possess smartly turned tiny ball finials. It is 39" long, 20 1/2" wide and 29 1/2" tall with a 36" X 17 1/2" measurement for a crib mattress.
