OIL ON CANVAS PORTRAIT OF FIRST SNOW ON TREES LANSCAPE IN LOVELY FRAME
We take the utmost pleasure in offering you this P.V. Schaikir signed oil on canvas portrait of a Northeastern U.S. most likely Pennsylvania landscape of the first snow on oaks, evergreens and maples. It depicts a fire trail with freshly cut timber. This is a lovely painting and a very tasteful original frame. This is a right off the wall offering, estate fresh gem from a very nice estate that knows art. This is representing a substantial art investment we made to ensure we have the best of this season. Schaikir, to the provenance we have (not much listed about him yet but there will be soon) was a early to mid-20th Century, PA painter. Obviously well trained. He did a lot of work for one family and we'll be offering more of his work soon. We agree that he is a superior landscape artist. The collection was taken to Atlantic City for framing with the rest on one trip. This landscape measures 41"X 29 1/4" with a sightsize of 35 1/2" X 23 3/4".
