We are delighted to offer you this very unique and extremely fine quality Circa 1900 custom made Chinese Chippendale styled solid mahogany Pagoda formed Butler's Desk with Vitrine top display Secretary. We happen to like this piece a lot with the entire realm of Chinese Chippendale influenced American and English Furniture. This specimen is made from the most choice select cuts of solid figured mahogany. It is in very nice condition and is an absolute gem with a graceful and delicate pierced carved broken arch pediment top crest. Its central molding's motif is well defined. It is equipped with a fall front desk with an interior of drawers and arched cubbies, fitted with extremely fine brasses and rosettes, lock and key. Below its desk it is formatted with a two over drawer three drawer cabinet with nicely accented cock bead moldings. This dense finely made case stands on molded Ogee Bracket feet and is 35 1/2" long, 17" wide and 72 1/2" tall.
