ANTIQUE EARLY 20TH CENTURY HEYWOOD WAKEFIELD ARTS & CRAFTS WICKER FLOOR LAMP WITH SILK UNDERLAY
Thank you for shopping with Bay Colony Antiques. We're a third generation family owned business furnishing homes all over the world. We aggressively pursue important antiques, decorative arts, and objects of interest for our most discerning clients.
With our highest compliments we're delighted and honored to offer for sale this absolutely wonderful early 20th century arts & crafts wicker floor lamp with silk underlay by Heywood Wakefield. Our arts & crafts collectors know what they're looking at represents the quintessential lamp for a Stickley or early arts & crafts collection. This is an early Heywood Wakefield design in exceptional condition. The body and shade employ a series of complex arts & crafts inter weaving. The golden silk underlay has survived and is in good condition. We note two of the original arts & crafts paper panels missing. Not a big deal but we note anything we see no matter how inconsequential they may be. These lamps simply don't surface and we had to step up for this one but will proudly do so to offer an exceptional early arts & crafts period lamp.
