For sale is this exceptional Federal period gold gilt gesso relief worked mirror. This is a super little piece with some of the best relief work you have ever seen in a period American mirror. It is in a wonderful state of condition in an untouched gold gilt finish and no gesso loss anywhere. Each rosette on the start corners of this has nine raised figures which is significant to this mirror's origin. This is a smaller, but important little piece measuring 12" X 14 1/2".
