We are pleased to offer you this wonderful Colonial Williamsburg burled walnut Chippendale style mirror with golden center plume. The mirror possesses the official Colonial Williamsburg touchmark carved into the back and it's cataloged description page identifying it as a "C.W.-L.G. 5" copy of the exact Chippendale mirror adorning the Raleigh Tavern at Williamsburg. The gold gilded plume is a variation of the Prince of Wales motif. The mirror has an incised gold gilt liner and beveled cut glass. This is one of two similar of these Freidman mirrors we recently acquired. They differ in finish with this example having a lighter tone and an amber shellac applied over the gold gilding leaving a very attractive copper accent to its finish. The licensing of the Colonial Williamsburg reproduction products are reserved for the very finest furniture and decorative arts companies in the United States. This mirror is a very old run by the Friedman's who have been in business since 1901. It is 46 1/2" tall and 28 1/2" wide.
