With our compliments we are delighted to offer you this special solid mahogany Chippendale styled Boston Bombe chest of drawers. This is a high quality copy of the John Coggswell masterpiece owned by the Edison Institute Henry Ford Museum. It is made under license for the museum by the Colonial Mfg. Co of Michigan. Sold in the very finest furniture shops of America in the mid 20th century. Exact in all significant details with a molded overhung top, graduated four drawer case, swelled front and side, possessing a shaped apron with drop center pediment and outstanding talon carved ball & claw legs. It is 39 1/4" long, 21" wide and 32 1/4" tall. It has all dovetailed joined drawers & mahogany drawer panels.
