We're pleased to offer for sale this great 20th century walnut bank of England office / desk swivel arm chair by Taylor Chair Co. of Bedford Ohio. The company was started in Bedford Ohio in 1816 by Benjamin Fitch. By the mid 19th century William Taylor was running the shop and became a prolific furniture manufacturer. The company survived the great depression and two world wars and continued business until they closed in 2012. This chair has it's original iron mechanism and moves around with ease. The chair has a shaped seat and a contoured splat making it comfortable for extended use. The chair is signed on the back of the seat.
