Bay Colony Antiques is pleased to offer for sale this wonderful 19th century antique New England Maple & Pine washstand. The washstand has a single drawer & a scrolled gallery with a Cupid’s bow design at the back.
The circular cutout was meant to house a wash basin, and a pitcher of fresh water to clean up with would kept on the shelf below. The stand is in great condition with our only notes being a minor stable age split on the top shelf, minor surface wear, and a small water stain on the lower shelf. The stand measures 16 3/4” wide x 14” deep x 34 1/4” tall.
