ANTIQUE DAIRY COW WEATHERVANE WITH MOUNT & STANDARDS ON DISPLAY BASE BY CUSHING
We are honored to offer you this exceptional late 19th century Dairy Cow Weathervane with decorative antique wrought iron roof mounting brackets and cast iron standards. The standards we note were made by Kretzener. The weathervane itself is solidly attributed to L. W. Cushing of Waltham, Massachusetts. The vane possesses outstanding original untouched or manipulated gold gilt working. We note and provide photos of a small seam opening which we make no apology of excuses for. This is an honest & true correct vane with an unmanipulated original surface. There are no bullet holes or major damages. Everything about the great collectible Vanes is within the subject matter and equally important is the original surface. We have provide photos with flash and without so you can see the gilt's reflective properties. The cow vane & attached pointer is 31" long and it stands 62" tall from the base to the top of the lightening rod center shaft.
