With our absolute highest compliments Bay Colony Antiques takes the utmost pleasure in offering this exceptional antique hanging wall cupboard. This offering is purposefully designed with both wall hung display shelves as well as a double door cabinet feature. The entire piece was made from an exotic grade of Honduran mahogany at some point during the early 20th century. Throughout the past century the wall cabinet has developed a rich and warm patina which distinguishes it from lesser grades of solid mahogany furniture. Each of the doors are raised paneled and have lambs tongue molded accents around the door panels. Below the double doors is a finely scrolled scallop pattern which spans the length of the cabinet. Both sides are pierced carved with floral accents and feature geometric pierced carvings in the Chinese Chippendale tradition as well as stylized bellflowers projecting over either end just below the top shelf. This specimen is in wonderful condition and it truly one of the rarest and most prized wall cabinets which we have ever offered. The shelf measures 24" wide x 6" deep x 25 1/2" tall.
