Bay colony Antiques is proud to offer for sale this fantastic late 19th / early 20th century antique Bird’s Eye Maple single door bookcase. We’ve purchased and sold a few identical cabinets in the past, but this is our first time ever finding one of these in Bird’s Eye Maple wood. Even though this is a much rarer cabinet being made of Bird’s Eye Maple, we only have this priced a couple hundred dollars more than the standard Oak ones.The cabinet has 6 shelves that can be easily adjusted to accommodate a library of varying heights. The lock & key work, and the gallery is ever so slightly raised which is helpful if you want to store something on top without the risk of it sliding off the back or sides. The bookcase is in fantastic condition and measures 30 1/4” wide x 13” deep x 52” tall.
