With our highest compliments Bay Colony Antiques takes the utmost pleasure in offering this incredible antique library table. Antique oak office furniture continues to be in considerably high demand in light of the recent surge of people working from home. We could not be any prouder to offer this library table or office desk as it is one of the finest examples available anywhere. The top features some of the boldest and most vibrant tiger oak heavy flake grain that you could ever hope to find on a piece of furniture. This piece dates to either the late 19th or early 20th century period when furniture was transitioning away from the Victorian style and into the emerging Arts & Crafts design movement. The library table has two drawers which each have a wooden handle affixed to the drawer fronts. There are four large tapered legs which support the library table that feature bold tiger oak grain and brass bands around the cuffs of each leg. These legs are easily to dissemble from the frame as they are fastened on by wing nuts which are accessible from underneath the table frame. This feature makes transporting the entire piece a dream come true and will help limit the chance of anything being damaged should relocating the table become necessary. There are no visible labels identifying the marker however the numbers 32413 are impressed on the inward face of one of the legs. The entire library retains a beautiful antique golden oak color which absolutely glows when placed anywhere near sunlight. The table measures 60" wide x 36" deep x 30" tall.
