We're pleased to offer for sale this wonderful early 20th century antique arts & crafts / mission oak office desk by Lucas Brothers of Baltimore MD. Taking control of their fathers stationary & publishing store the Lucas brothers began their partnership in 1853. The original building was lost in the Great Baltimore Fire and the firm continued operation in a new location well into the 20th century. This desk is in exceptional condition finished in a great golden oak color. The desk has a large center drawer with two pull out writing tabs. The left side has 3 standard drawers and the right one standard and one double drawer. The desk is signed Lucas Brothers INC on a metal tag in the center of the desk. The desk has decorative brass caps on the feet. The desk is 50" long x 30" wide x 31" tall.
