We recognize this file as an Amberg by its construction and signature raised paneled drawer facings along with the amber shellac finish. We believe its acetate name plate simply came free years ago. We are selling it for what it is-a mint condition raised paneled antique oak file cabinet. It is formatted with 4 index drawers over 3 legal sized drawers. The indexes are each 5" long by 4 1/2" tall. Each of the legal files are 12 1/4" long, 10 1/4" tall and 24" in depth. Its in a very noteworthy excellent condition with nicely functioning drawer actions.
