We're pleased to offer for sale this wonderful set of early 20th century Art Deco 6 fluted cast bronze hotel / theater stanchions. Complete with 4 red velvet ropes this set is in great condition with minimal surface wear. These have a beautiful patina and will add a commanding presence to any collection. Every bit of these stanchions is high quality heavy cast bronze down to the rope hooks and mounting plates. In terms of metal working these represent the highest tier of this discipline. The bases have inset weighters built into them for extra stability. These are very heavy with a flared base they wont fall over. We see these used in homes, theaters, hotels, restaurants, clubs, libraries etc and are excited to offer the best set we've seen in the last decade.
