Bay Colony Antiques is proud to offer for sale this wonderful vintage pair of Tiger Maple nightstands / end tables. We’re always in the market for diminutive furniture for that hard to furnish spot. These stands at only 23 1/2” tall would work well in a bedroom with a slanted ceiling or as end tables flanking a low sofa. The stands were made in the Sheraton style and are peg joined with chamfered panels and dovetail construction used for the drawers. The drawer faces have a molded face and even the knobs are Curly Maple adding to the congruity of the design. The legs are free of any break and repairs and showcase a traditional turning pattern with compressed ball feet. The boldest cuts of Maple were reserved for the tops and the stands are in very good condition with our only notes being minimal surface wear. The previous owners purchased these in Western Pennsylvania, but we couldn’t locate a maker's mark or signature. The stands measure 13” wide x 12 3/4” x 23 1/2” tall.
