We're pleased to offer for sale this wonderful Sheraton antique style queen size rope carved bed. This bed is a vintage recreation of a traditional New England bed. stands on turned feet with decorative brass bed bolt covers. The posts are finely carved with tobacco leaves at the lower turning that transition to a tapered rope carving. The upper portion of the posts have tight ringlet turnings and terminate in tobacco leaf carved urn finials. This bed is in great condition with a vibrant clean red mahogany finish. This is a used vintage item so minor surface wear is to be expected, however, we probably have the most discriminate eye when examining what we're going to offer. We WILL NOT sell any item we wouldn't be proud to own ourselves. The worst we can say about this bed is a small ~1" finish loss on the left leg block to the left of the headboard. We'll have this professionally addressed by our expert woodworker for our end client. The rails are fitted with iron L brackets to support the box spring. The bed measures 64" wide x 87 1/2" long x 85" tall. The interior measurements are 60" wide x 80" long (Standard Queen Size).
