With our highest compliments we're proud to offer for sale this exceptional set of 10 mahogany Queen Anne antique style dining chairs by Henkel Harris. Henkel Harris continues to produce some of the finest home furnishings with exquisite attention to detail of timeless antique designs. The partnership began in 1940's between the Henkel family and John Harris. The unlikely trio was rather inexperienced in cabinet making but spent countless hours studying antiques they coveted so highly. They paid particular mind to the way these timeless treasures were crafted and finished and sought out to recreate the quality of Americas golden age of cabinetry. Henkel Harris furniture cost an exorbitant amount new from the showroom, this set of chairs are in excellent condition and available for a fraction of their original price.
This set comes with 10 beautiful Queen Anne antique style mahogany chairs. The set has two arm chairs and 8 side chairs. The chairs have a wonderful design with fantastic vasiform splats with excellent use of the negative space. The stiles are shaped and transition into a rolled crest. This set has green fabric seats with an allover embroidered design that can be seen through the zoom browser. The seats boxes have a simple yet elegant cut out profile with a molded seat box. We've attached a picture of the paper label on the chairs. The chairs are style 110 S with finish number 29. These have very light wear. As great as Henkel Harris or Baker chairs can be we can't offer any items with major flaws or defects. These were well cared for from a non smoking home and a great addition to any formal dining room. The arm chair measures 26" wide x 24" deep x 39" tall with a seat height of 19". The side chairs are 23" wide x 23" deep x 38 1/2" tall with a seat height of 18 1/2".
