With our highest compliments and honors we're proud to offer for sale this exceptional pair of early 20th century French Napoleon III style marble top consoles. These consoles are decorated with many different species of wood. The cabinets have a nice scrolling pattern along the apron with book matched grain & an acanthus leaf casting along the base. This is a traditional french design with wonderful turret corners and extensive use of string inlays and variegated woods. The consoles have four heavy cast ormolu rosettes on the front with additional acanthus casting on the base and exceptional caryatid women mounts along the columns. These cabinets have an upper drawer with a string inlay border and the lower doors open to reveal an interior shelf. We added a slight yellow background to the image so the marble wouldn't get lost in the background. The marble is in a nice high gloss polished surface without any damage. These cabinets are 38" wide x 16 1/2" deep x 39 3/4" tall.
