We're proud to offer for sale this wonderful 20th century French Louis XV antique style marble top console / cabinet. This cabinet has a shaped green marble top with a molded edge. The console has a beautiful variegated wood marquetry design depicting inlaid flowers, drapery, vines, and other motifs. The cabinet is absolutely covered with ormolu mounts with beautiful full bodied caryatid women castings. More often than not we encounter these absolutely riddled with veneer damage. This cabinet is refreshingly mint with all the marquetry inlay intact. Period French examples are becoming scarcer by the year. French furniture is loved all over the world and the best has been snapped up and locked away in private collections and institutions. We do come across the older examples but generally sell them through other platforms. We have no trouble shipping the marble and can get this safely to your home in a matter of days. This cabinet is 40" wide x 16" deep x 39 1/4" tall.
