Friedman Brothers decorative arts are highly coveted for their attention to detail in manufacturing and their flawless recreation of timeless American & Continental designs. The mirror has carved Corinthian columns & a full bodied eagle clenching a striped shield, arrows, and olive branches amid a gilt cross hatched field. The mirror has a wonderful high luster gilt surface with our only condition note being a small hairline crack in the gesso along the top panel. We’ll have our restorer touch this up with a color matched gold leaf paint and it’ll be even harder to notice than it is now.
