Bay Colony Antiques is pleased to offer for sale this fantastic 20th century Chippendale antique style Mahogany butlers table. The table has a beautiful crotch Mahogany top with a paterae inlay at the center and a cross banded inlay around the edge. The table was made by Hekman Furniture of North Carolina and has a high gloss finish similar to a French polish. The table has molded Marlboro legs and an x shaped cross stretcher for added stability. The table is in wonderful condition with our only notes being minimal surface wear and light scratching to the top. With high gloss finishes like this we usually ask our restorer to apply a fresh overcoat to refresh the surface for the next owner. The table measures 33 1/2” wide x 23 1/2” deep x 22” tall with the ends up. When the ends are folded down the table measures 40 1/2” wide x 31” deep x 18 1/4” tall.
