We're pleased to offer for sale this wonderful 20th century 4 drawer mahogany serpentine bachelors chest by Councill Craftsmen in the Chippendale style. Founded in 1973 Fred & Hope Councill started a furniture company in North Carolina named " Councill Craftsmen". Using the most select materials the company focused on recreating timeless American furniture designs. This chest is clean as a whistle from a smoke free home in wonderful condition. The chest has a shaped & molded top, fluted columns, serpentine form drawer faces, high polished brass pulls, and a complex ogee bracket base. New from the showroom these chests cost an exorbitant amount of money. Our customers are smart to shop with us and deserve to reap the reward. The chest measures 27" wide x 17" deep x 30 1/3" tall.
