Larkin started as a soap company in Buffalo NY and would include free furniture with large soap orders and eventually became a smaller version of Sears Roebuck with an extensive catalog just like Amazon. Unlike Amazon, Larkin manufactured most of their products in large factories in Buffalo and employed a large number of people. If you've been in the market for a nice Oak cabinet for some time you won't want to miss this one. The bookcase is clean as a whistle & retains its original wavy glass doors and has 4 adjustable shelves that can accommodate a large library. The bookcase does have a key and the lock works as intended. The bookcase is in very good condition with our only notes being minimal surface wear. The bookcase measures 39 1/4” wide x 13 1/2” deep x 54 1/4” tall. The interior measures 36” wide x 10 1/2” deep.
