With our highest compliments we're extremely proud to offer for sale this wonderful 20th century William & Mary antique style Spanish foot gate leg table. This things is absolutely gorgeous. It's crafted from high grade tiger or curly maple stock in a classic American William & Mary - Queen Anne transitional gate leg table. This is a bench made piece signed & dated by cabinet maker Stephen Adams with exceptional attention to detail notably in the form of the Spanish feet & understanding of ideal proportions & ratios. The table is peg joined in the period fashion with hand chamfered drawer bottoms & the gate legs actuate with ease. There is slight warpage to the leaves present but these are massive leaves, slight warping is to be expected. The table has an incised carved & shaped table box with a drawer on each end. This is a large stately table measuring 54" long x 31 1/2" wide x 30" tall. When the leaves are locked up the width changes from 31 1/2" to 80" wide.
