We're pleased to offer for sale this wonderful and clean estate fresh double door oak bookcase by Paine Furniture CO of Boston. Paine furniture company started in the mid 19th century and continued to produce fine furniture until the mid 20th century. This bookcase retains it's original wavy glass with great old character. The top panel below the gallery has an attractive quarter sawn "tiger" grain decoration with a raised gallery above. The interior has 3 adjustable shelves that sit on shelf pins. This bookcase is 43" wide x 13 3/4" deep x 52" tall. The height at the upper surface is 51" high.
