With our compliments we are delighted to offer you this fabulous early 19th Century stage coach box with topped top and brass ornate decorations including the personalized "Hazel" on its top. The box has side carrying handles with diamond shaped cartouche and various brass tacks ornamentation all over it. Its interior has a lovely lined interior. These come in various sizes from deed document boxes to the larger ones being stage coach boxes. This is a great original finish and surface on it with decorative leather trimmings. We note very high quality investments in its condition with the hinges and lock being reset with new wood back support. This is definitely one of the best boxes we have encountered for a while now coming from an amazing well known Vermont collector's estate. It is 24" long, 12 1/2 1/2" tall and 11" wide.
