We're excited to offer for sale this wonderful Victorian tiger oak S-curve roll top office desk. This is a very high quality and well made desk. We handle a few dozen a year and only choose to offer these when they're clean, unaltered, and the tambours work effortlessly. We couldn't find a shop mark on this but looking at the select wood stock used, the sophisticated layout & interior, and the interior drawer locking lever mechanism we have no doubt this came from one of the more coveted makers possibly Derby / Globe / American Standard. The interior lever locking mechanism will hold all other drawers in place when the center drawer is locked. This didn't come to us with a key but if you have exceptional security needs most locksmiths can make this key for <$10. This desk comes apart in sections making it much more practical to move around than standard executive desks. The left bank has a writing tab with 4 standard drawers. The right bank has a writing tab with 2 standard drawers over 1 double drawer. This desk measures 50" wide x 31" deep x 50" tall. The height of the writing surface is 31" & the knee hole is 20 1/2" wide.
