We're delighted to offer for sale this great 19th century Victorian oak 8 drawer lateral file. This cabinet has 8 drawers that actuate with ease and retain their original locks and escutcheons. This didn't come to us with a key but should be an easy profile for a locksmith to duplicate for 10-15 dollars. We purchased this from a print shop where it was cherished for many years. The file has wonderful 8 panel sides matching the drawer format. Under the third drawer this cabinet has a pull out writing tab or work surface. This is a nice industrial piece from the late 19th century much more desirable than turn of the century more mass produced oak. The file is 20" wide x 22" deep x 53 1/2" tall
