PAIR OF CHIPPENDALE MAHOGANY DINING CHAIRS W/ FLORAL SEATS

With our highest compliments and utmost honors Bay Colony Antiques is proud to bring to market this remarkable 19th century pair of antique Chippendale mahogany dining chairs. We’ve been scouring the northeast all winter and spring and are loaded for bear with fresh inventory. The set consists of two arm chairs and six side chairs with multi colored floral fabric seats. The chairs came to us from a smoke free home and the fabric is clean and free of any rips and tears. The chairs are crafted from a high grade Caribbean Mahogany with exceptional attention to detail and great proportions. The chairs have carved Cupid’s bow crests with intricately pierced splats with wonderful use of the negative space. The chairs are nice and sturdy and are in fantastic condition with our only notes being a repair to the top left corner of the crest and the right stile of the arm chair on the far right in our gallery shot. The side chairs measure 21 1/2” wide x 20” deep x 36 3/4” tall with a 19” seat height. The arm chairs measure 24” wide x 21” deep x 36 1/2” tall with a seat height of 19”.
