19TH CENTURY ANTIQUE VICTORIAN WALNUT TAMBOUR LOCKING FILE WITH RAISED GALLERY
Thank you for shopping with Bay Colony Antiques. We're a third generation family owned business furnishing homes all over the world. We aggressively pursue important antiques, decorative arts, and objects of interest for our most discerning clients.
We're delighted to offer for sale this great 19th century antique Victorian walnut tambour office filing cabinet. This is an extremely rare piece of office furniture and a nice specialized piece with blue velvet covered sliding shelves. The last owner used this for his watch & jewelry collection and it was time to upsize. Sadly the timepieces were not offered for sale but we're proud to offer this great Victorian tambour file. The tambour actuates with ease and is not ripped or damaged. The cabinet retains it's original working lock, key, escutcheon plate, & pierced handle. The cabinet has a beautiful walnut top with a turned walnut gallery. Those who follow us understand we continue to bring to market better - best tier investment grade antiques offered below standard market value. We work harder and cover more area than any other operation to bring the absolute best to solely our clients. We misplaced the sizes and will amend the listing with them shortly.
