19TH CENTURY ANTIQUE TIGER OAK VICTORIAN SWIVEL OFFICE ARM CHAIR W/ BLACK LEATHER SEAT
We're delighted to offer for sale this exceptional 19th century antique Victorian tiger oak swivel office chair. These came into fashion in the Victorian period with a heavy design influence from the Bank Of England chairs used in the treasury. A few months ago we had about 10 really nice early 20th century examples but with the major rise of people working from home we were picked clean. We're very excited to offer this top tier 19th century Victorian oak swivel chair. The chair is super comfortable with a nicely padded black leather seat with back cushion accented with a decorative tack border. The best cuts of oak were reserved for the curved crest with bold tiger oak grain. The chair is finished in a warm golden oak color in wonderful condition as pictured. The chair measures 24 1/2" wide x 20" deep x 37" tall with a seat height of 19". The iron mechanism allows the chair to be raised and lowered so the 37" height measurement we gave can be adjusted a couple inches lower or higher. The width of the seat between the arms is 20" wide x 19" deep.
