Bay Colony Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this splendid 19th century antique Victorian Tiger Oak cabinet. The cabinet has 6 large drawers with a molded base & molded top edge. The cabinet has double panel sides and a double paneled back with a simple bead work design on the faces. The top two drawers on the left side have a slight discoloration where a paper label used to be and there’s one small chip on the top right hand corner of the bottom drawer on the left side. The cabinet originally had a divider in the drawers to accommodate two rows of 3" x 5" catalog cards. With the dividers removed the cabinet can now comfortably house both standard & legal size papers thanks to the generous proportions of the drawers. The cabinet measures 27” wide x 20 1/8” deep x 15” tall. The drawers have useable dimensions of 10 1/2” wide x 16 1/4” deep x 3 1/4” tall.
