With our highest compliments and utmost honors, Bay Colony Antiques is extremely proud to offer for sale this exceptional 12 drawer Tiger Oak file cabinet. The cabinet is extremely clean and was finished in a perfect golden Oak color. The cabinet has 4 panel sides and was made with high quality quarter sawn Oak with attractive grain patterns. The top 10 drawers are all a uniform size and the two drawers at the base are oversized. There’s a pull out work surface or writing tab under the 4th drawer and all the drawers retain their original bin pulls that double as index card plates. Those who follow us know we’re no stranger to top tier Oak file cabinets. This cabinet has a very desirable layout and with its tall and narrow proportions the cabinet can hold a large amount of papers or items without commanding too much floor space. All but the 6th and 10th drawer have a split configuration shown in our pictures but the dividers can be easily removed if you wish to use the drawers at full width. The 10 standard drawers measure 19 7/8” wide x 17 1/2” deep x 2 1/2” tall. As we mentioned earlier, the two base drawers are slightly larger with 5 1/2” of useable height. This would make a great specimen cabinet and is also capable of holding legal size papers and would work well in a law office. We’re usually pretty well stocked with cabinets like this but they’ve been turning over rather quickly. The overall dimensions of the cabinet are 26” wide x 20 3/4” deep (21” w/ pull) x 57” tall.
